[00:00:00] Hello there everybody, welcome to Forgive And Forget. My name is Hal Sadi aka Haloo and this is the show where I talk about the stuff that's going on in my life.

[00:00:13] I'll tell you a quick story and I'll go over the news that's targeted to me. Welcome back everybody.

[00:00:18] So I'm recording on a Wednesday. I'm still ramping up to be doing whatever I'm planning. I'll give you more information.

[00:00:28] I'm planning a bunch of shit baby and I'm going to bring it soon. It'll come to light soon.

[00:00:33] I'm just still ramping up, making sure there's a good structure and then I'm setting schedules so I'm actually doing the work when I need to so it's like a consistent stream.

[00:00:46] Of course there will be times where I need to pre-record and stuff like that but that doesn't matter.

[00:00:51] The important thing is that I'm doing this shit baby and the most important thing is that you are here listening baby. Hello, welcome people.

[00:00:58] So yeah, that's what's been going on. I was actually in Michigan last weekend. I went for a cousin's wedding so I visited some family.

[00:01:11] I had a good time. I saw my wife for the weekend because she's been in Minnesota for a little bit.

[00:01:16] So I hadn't seen her in a couple of weeks. She's still going to be out for a couple more weeks.

[00:01:24] It was good to see her because I hadn't seen her in a little bit so I missed her.

[00:01:28] But yeah, it was also good to see the family. Good to see the family.

[00:01:36] It was a short trip but it was fun. So that was nice. It's nice to get things cooking man. I'm making shit happen alright.

[00:01:46] And you'll see it soon. It'll all come out soon!

[00:01:54] If you're watching the video, you'll see that I have a Sandlot shirt. It says you're killing me Smalls.

[00:02:02] I love the movie. I love the Sandlot. It's a great movie.

[00:02:06] But I was thinking about James Earl Jones is in the movie and he plays like the grumpy old guy.

[00:02:13] He's not really a grumpy old guy but he's got this persona that people don't seem to like him until they actually...

[00:02:19] Spoilers for the movie!

[00:02:21] The point is, in the movie he's talking about how great Babe Ruth is.

[00:02:29] Babe Ruth in baseball is really good. He was a ruthless...

[00:02:45] He was a ruthless baseball player.

[00:02:48] But you know what? For someone to be ruthless it means that they don't have any Ruth.

[00:02:54] And not many people have Ruth because...

[00:03:01] This is so dumb! Not many people have Ruth because you just have to give birth to an immediate grandma.

[00:03:08] You immediately were born a grandma. That's what a Ruth is because it's an old person's name.

[00:03:13] Babe Ruth, that's his last name. So he was born, his grandma gave him his Ruth and he never took it away.

[00:03:19] Anyway, this is not to point for some reason I have to say that. Oh my god, this is so dumb.

[00:03:26] So Babe Ruth was a great player in baseball but he was also...

[00:03:30] I was wondering if James Earl Jones when he was reading the script he was like...

[00:03:36] This is the dumbest shit I've ever seen!

[00:03:39] This is a horrible James Earl Jones impression but...

[00:04:02] Because they talk about him like a god, which like I said he's a great player.

[00:04:07] No disrespect to Babe Ruth other than...

[00:04:12] This one, he was a fat drunk bastard who just ate hot dogs and drank beer.

[00:04:17] And he still managed to be a good baseball player.

[00:04:20] I wonder if he was a good hitter.

[00:04:24] Well, I forgot. I was working on a James Earl Jones impression anyway.

[00:04:28] But I wonder if he would practice hitting on the women he was dating.

[00:04:36] Okay. I'm sorry guys, this is getting dark.

[00:04:40] At least I'm having fun guys. I don't know about you.

[00:04:45] Hopefully you are.

[00:04:47] But to me that's interesting because Babe Ruth was the reference...

[00:04:51] Babe Ruth was the reference for the greatest in their whatever.

[00:04:57] Before Michael Jordan, I remember watching the Arnold Schwarzenegger documentary.

[00:05:03] Someone called him the Babe Ruth of weightlifting.

[00:05:06] Which is interesting. That's your hero?

[00:05:10] There were better people I'm guessing.

[00:05:13] I don't know there's better players.

[00:05:15] Like I said no disrespect to Babe.

[00:05:17] Great player. He still has some records that are intact.

[00:05:21] And I'm never going to do anything about him.

[00:05:23] I just hear the armchair quarterback shitting on him.

[00:05:27] But I just think that he's not the reference.

[00:05:29] But he was the reference for a while.

[00:05:33] And then came MJ, Michael Jordan.

[00:05:35] And the guy had to be a super pristine flawless player.

[00:05:40] That was good in every single aspect because he worked so hard at it.

[00:05:46] And then that's the guy who replaces him.

[00:05:52] Fat drunk hot dog eating bastard was reference for a while.

[00:05:58] I guess because he's white.

[00:05:59] And then MJ just comes over and decimates him.

[00:06:03] There's no comparison between baseball and basketball.

[00:06:08] You're running constantly up and down the court.

[00:06:11] You're passing, you're gribbling.

[00:06:13] There's a lot more intricacies in basketball that are quick.

[00:06:18] Baseball is a great sport to play.

[00:06:21] And it's considered America's pastime.

[00:06:24] I don't know if that's still true.

[00:06:26] It was back in the day.

[00:06:27] Anyway, Ken Burns documentary baseball.

[00:06:30] Love it.

[00:06:31] It was great. I love that thing.

[00:06:34] I don't know if it's still considered America's pastime.

[00:06:36] But it's just such a different kind of athlete.

[00:06:41] Even Michael Jordan when he went to play baseball,

[00:06:44] the training that he did was completely different.

[00:06:46] Because in basketball there's so much cardio involved in baseball.

[00:06:51] You're just so stationary.

[00:06:55] You're only running when you're in the offense.

[00:06:58] Or maybe when you're in the outfield and running to get a ball or something like that.

[00:07:02] But it's such a different kind of sport.

[00:07:05] Anyway, I just think that was an interesting thing.

[00:07:13] I guess you could say he was the best of the white guys.

[00:07:16] Because Babe Ruth was in the segregated league.

[00:07:20] He never got to play in the integrated league.

[00:07:24] But a lot of his records still hold true.

[00:07:27] And then a lot of the other ones were shattered.

[00:07:30] Like 90 or 100 years later, whatever it was.

[00:07:33] I don't even know if it's 100.

[00:07:35] I think he played in the 20s.

[00:07:39] I guess it is 100 years for a few people.

[00:07:41] But not the ones that broke his record.

[00:07:44] Anyway, but he was the best of the white guys.

[00:07:48] And I will say that...

[00:07:52] This is a completely unrelated topic.

[00:07:54] But my wife had three miscarriages.

[00:07:57] And I believe it was because of my sperm.

[00:08:00] So you could probably say that I'm the Babe Ruth of miscarriages, guys.

[00:08:04] Alright? Okay.

[00:08:05] A lot of dark...

[00:08:07] I went a little dark today.

[00:08:09] But anyway.

[00:08:10] Alright guys.

[00:08:11] So let's go over the news.

[00:08:13] I'm only going to go over three.

[00:08:15] Because they're grinding my gears.

[00:08:17] They're grinding my gears.

[00:08:21] The first one is...

[00:08:23] Where'd it go?

[00:08:24] Here we go.

[00:08:25] It says how Bill Burr turned into one of Stephen Colbert's worst guests ever.

[00:08:32] I read the article, right?

[00:08:34] And I was reading the article.

[00:08:36] And look, I'm not a big fan of Colbert.

[00:08:37] I love him on the Colbert Report.

[00:08:39] I think he's great.

[00:08:40] But then when he became the Colbert Late Show guy...

[00:08:44] He just became like a corporate spokesman for whatever...

[00:08:51] It's just like a spokesman for whatever the media wants him to say.

[00:08:56] It doesn't feel like what he used to be before.

[00:09:00] But anyway.

[00:09:01] Barring that...

[00:09:04] Putting my personal feelings about the guy aside...

[00:09:06] I actually watched the interview.

[00:09:10] Quiet, buddy. Don't bark.

[00:09:12] Sorry, my dog is barking.

[00:09:14] But anyway.

[00:09:17] As I was watching the interview...

[00:09:19] They're shitting on Bill Burr.

[00:09:21] How he's bombing.

[00:09:22] And then how Colbert wasn't even good with him.

[00:09:26] To help him out or whatever.

[00:09:31] Now let's go into this for a little bit.

[00:09:34] I feel like these people don't know who Bill Burr is.

[00:09:37] And they've never seen his comedy.

[00:09:40] He likes to touch on topics that are uncomfortable.

[00:09:45] So sometimes the people get uncomfortable when he's talking about them.

[00:09:48] But that's part of his act.

[00:09:50] So whenever that happens...

[00:09:52] He reels them back in with stuff.

[00:09:54] And that's what he was doing. He was killing.

[00:09:56] There's no moment in this interview that he's bombing.

[00:09:58] Yeah, it might have gotten a little uncomfortable.

[00:10:01] But he's a pro.

[00:10:04] And then Colbert...

[00:10:06] People were saying that he was a little disjointed in his questions.

[00:10:10] And things like that.

[00:10:11] And to be fair...

[00:10:13] The questions on a talk show like that...

[00:10:16] Where you have a limited amount of time...

[00:10:18] They have some questions they want to get to.

[00:10:20] They want to ask them.

[00:10:22] So if he's talking about one thing and then he asks them about something else...

[00:10:25] It wasn't that bad.

[00:10:27] And yeah, he was laughing.

[00:10:29] The crowd was laughing.

[00:10:31] This seemed like a hit piece.

[00:10:34] The interview was from 2017.

[00:10:36] That's seven years ago.

[00:10:39] And this is an article that was written two days ago.

[00:10:43] What the hell, man?

[00:10:45] He's just a...

[00:10:47] I don't know, man. People hate on Bill.

[00:10:49] I think people are just looking to hate on something.

[00:10:52] Anyway. Alright, let's move on to the other one.

[00:10:54] So this one...

[00:10:56] The ICC issues a rest warrant for cast crew of the Big Bang Theory.

[00:11:00] I think...

[00:11:02] I read through this thing and I think this whole article is a joke.

[00:11:05] Okay?

[00:11:07] It's like a joke.

[00:11:09] One of the first statements is an actual constructed joke.

[00:11:11] It feels like a constructed joke.

[00:11:13] I'll read it out for you, okay?

[00:11:15] Because first of all...

[00:11:17] This is what it says, okay?

[00:11:21] The ICC is going to check off a bunch of stuff off of their bucket list.

[00:11:25] We're going to start by arresting some war criminals.

[00:11:28] End a couple of regional conflicts.

[00:11:30] And finally bring a stop to the waking nightmare that is Chuck Lorre's career.

[00:11:34] Like, that seems like a joke.

[00:11:36] And then it goes on and on about how the Big Bang Theory, blah, blah, blah...

[00:11:39] Look. Is it the best show on television? No. But I enjoy it.

[00:11:43] I've watched several seasons.

[00:11:45] I remember I bought five seasons of that back in the day.

[00:11:47] It went on for 12 seasons.

[00:11:49] I stopped watching it for a while.

[00:11:51] But whenever I watch it, it's fun. I enjoy it.

[00:11:53] So I don't know.

[00:11:55] The whole article feels like an onion article.

[00:11:58] You know what I mean? Like it's a joke.

[00:11:59] I don't know if that's what it is or if this is actually true.

[00:12:04] So...

[00:12:06] Uh huh.

[00:12:08] And then in their point-proving...

[00:12:14] They asked someone and they said that his grandma called him...

[00:12:19] That he was like Sheldon Cooper.

[00:12:21] And he got offended by that.

[00:12:23] And he said that nobody should have to live through that trauma.

[00:12:29] So it's good that the ICC is going to try to get these people arrested.

[00:12:35] So now...

[00:12:38] Now, that's also like a joke, right?

[00:12:40] That seems like a joke to me.

[00:12:42] So this whole thing is a joke to me.

[00:12:44] But if it's true, god damn, this is a bad idea.

[00:12:48] Alright? If this is a bad idea...

[00:12:50] I mean, if this happens, this is a horrible idea, alright?

[00:12:52] This is just entertainment.

[00:12:53] You can't go to attack people in entertainment.

[00:12:56] Again, I think this article is a joke.

[00:12:58] I feel like this is the onion...

[00:13:01] Some people trying to be the onion, alright?

[00:13:03] That's what it feels like.

[00:13:04] I don't even know who the people are.

[00:13:08] I will look...

[00:13:09] I feel like...

[00:13:11] Man, I just gotta look into this.

[00:13:14] Because horror...

[00:13:15] I don't wanna say...

[00:13:16] I mean yeah, they do stuff on Twitch.

[00:13:20] It looks like it's comedy, man.

[00:13:30] Yeah, I think this is comedy, dude.

[00:13:43] Jesus Christ, I don't know, man.

[00:13:45] I don't know.

[00:13:46] I'm reading...

[00:13:47] I went to the Instagram page and read the comments

[00:13:49] and it just seems like it's actual truth.

[00:13:52] So I don't know.

[00:13:53] I have no idea.

[00:13:55] This is the last one.

[00:13:57] Alright.

[00:13:58] Greg Olsen's sports Emmy win only adds to Tom Brady awkwardness

[00:14:01] to 7 million blah blah blah.

[00:14:03] So I guess they reduced Greg Olsen's paycheck

[00:14:06] from 7 million to 3 million.

[00:14:08] That's not fair, I guess.

[00:14:11] But they put him on the B-Team air quotes.

[00:14:14] So anyway, he won an Emmy

[00:14:16] and now people are shitting on Tommy Boy.

[00:14:19] Now look, Tommy Boy overall just gets a lot of hate

[00:14:21] because he's the best guy ever.

[00:14:23] So...

[00:14:25] I don't know, man.

[00:14:26] To look at it this way...

[00:14:28] I don't know if the...

[00:14:29] So the Emmy thing...

[00:14:30] I feel like the Emmy thing might be...

[00:14:35] Like a way for people to throw shade at Tom.

[00:14:39] I don't know.

[00:14:40] I've seen him do...

[00:14:42] I've seen Greg Olsen do the things.

[00:14:45] This is in no way me trying to shit on Greg Olsen.

[00:14:47] This is just me looking at people just finding things

[00:14:50] to get mad at.

[00:14:52] Look, when you're the greatest quarterback of all time,

[00:14:55] you have a mind...

[00:14:57] He's got a specific brain

[00:14:59] that nobody else can look at things the way he does.

[00:15:02] So, yeah, you're gonna pay a lot of money for that, you know?

[00:15:05] Because the insights he's gonna bring...

[00:15:07] Like I've listened to him on podcasts and stuff like that

[00:15:10] and the way he goes about the game is very different.

[00:15:14] So, I don't know, man.

[00:15:16] The way he studies tape, the way he does things...

[00:15:19] It's just crazy, guys.

[00:15:21] It's just crazy.

[00:15:22] Anyway...

[00:15:24] I am gonna leave it there, people.

[00:15:26] All right?

[00:15:27] If you enjoy this podcast, please subscribe.

[00:15:34] Kicked my monitor.

[00:15:35] If you want to follow me on the line,

[00:15:37] I am at HalifaxSaty on Instagram

[00:15:40] and Haljsaty on TikTok.

[00:15:43] And...

[00:15:45] I enjoy doing this.

[00:15:47] I hope you enjoy it, too.

[00:15:50] We'll keep some more coming.

[00:15:52] I'm talking some stuff, baby.

[00:15:53] I will announce it soon.

[00:15:55] I don't say it now because there's nothing in stone right now.

[00:15:58] I'm still building it up, okay?

[00:15:59] So, I'll talk to you later, my people.

[00:16:01] Bye!
